Day trip to Meyers Springs, a site containing finely executed red paintings dating to the historic period and attributed to the Plains Indians. Visited military and ranching ruins and prehistoric sites around the springs. Tour led by Dr. Carolyn Boyd and Elton Prewitt.

On return, stopped at Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center in Langtry, Texas. Also, viewed Bonfire Shelter from canyon rim and discuss bison jump. Led by Elton Prewitt.
